Rona Thompson will be talking about nitrous oxide emissions and impacts at the upcoming Climate Neutrality Forum in Brussels, 28-30 October 2024. It is a forum to help science be translated into policy and action.

EYE-CLIMA had two presentations at the European Geophysical Union (EGU) Assembly in Vienna in April 2024, including a poster giving an overview of the project to date.
EYE-CLIMA General Assembly 2024

We held the first EYE-CLIMA general assembly since the kick-off in Vienna, and online, 7-9 February. Results were presented from the first year of the project, and a plan was made for research and outreach in 2024. All in all it was a successful and enjoyable meeting.

EYE-CLIMA officially launched

We officially launched the Horizon Europe project EYE-CLIMA with a vibrant kick-off meeting in Oslo and online 20-21st March. All of the 17 contributing partners from 7 European countries came together. The different working groups under the project discussed the work plan and research in breakout sessions. This is the first step towards reaching the project objective of improving estimates of national (and global) greenhouse gas and black carbon emissions.
